Occupational Therapy (OT)

Jill Gracyalny, OTR joined Cobblestone Therapy Group in March 2007 to provide evaluations and treatment for children needing occupational therapy. Since graduating in 1994, Jill has worked as an occupational therapist in both early intervention and geriatric settings. She previously was a special education teacher at the elementary school level for 9 years in Wisconsin. Jill is a caring, dedicated and fun-loving therapist who enjoys working with children from the toddler years throughout the school age years. Jill specializes in several areas including:

* Early Intervention
* Feeding (uses both behavioral and sensory approaches; has successfully taught many children how to swallow pills; works with children who are “picky eaters”)
* Sensory Integration
* Provider of Therapeutic Listening
* Autism
* Motor Planning
* Developmental Delays
* Fine Motor Delays

Jill uses techniques from various sources including Brain Balance, vision therapy, Alphabet Beats/ Handwriting Without Tears, and the Out of Sync Child. She has recently become interested in providing treatment to children with visual, learning and motor difficulties.

Jill lives in Alpharetta and is the mother of 2 teenage boys. Jill completed her OT degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1994. She has furthered her education through numerous workshops including courses on vision and visual perceptual skills, motor praxis, Therapeutic Listening (basic and advanced), feeding (including tube feeding and SOS approach), sensory modulation, vestibular retraining, and visual processing therapy/learning.
