Physical Therapists
Marian Durie, PT, DPT
Marian was originally born in Austin, Texas but eventually moved to Florida where she grew up. She attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida where she completed her undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology followed by her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She has always enjoyed working with children but really discovered her passion for it when she completed her pediatric clinical rotation in graduate school at Lakeland Regional Hospital’s outpatient pediatric clinic. She started her PT career in pediatrics following graduation and hasn’t looked back! She previously worked in a private practice pediatric clinic in Florida before deciding to relocate to the Atlanta area in 2020. She has experience treating a variety of diagnoses such as torticollis, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, ASD, Down Syndrome, and toe-walking. She is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and having fun while doing it!
Outside of physical therapy, Marian and her husband Ronnie enjoy going on hikes, finding new TV shows to watch, and snuggling with their mini goldendoodle, Zoe. She also loves spending time with friends and family, watching Lightning Hockey (Go Bolts!), taking ballet classes, and baking.
Amy Dobbs, PT, DPT
Amy is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who is passionate about helping children and young athletes reach their full potential through fun, challenging, and personalized care. Amy earned her Bachelor's in Exercise and Sport Science from The University of Georgia, followed by her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. Her expertise includes supporting children with a wide range of diagnoses, such as developmental delays, torticollis, toe walking, Autism Spectrum Disorder, congenital heart disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. She has also specialized in aquatic physical therapy, particularly for children with cerebral palsy, to build strength, mobility, and confidence in a supportive, low-impact setting.
She believes every session should be engaging and enjoyable—she creates creative challenges and a positive atmosphere to motivate patients and help them become their best selves. Outside the clinic, you'll find her playing pickleball, cheering on the Dawgs, walking her chocolate lab Goose, or spending quality time with family. These activities keep her active and remind her why movement matters!
